In 2016, as Director of Sustainable Bangladesh- a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainability research and fostering a healthier, wealthier Bangladesh, I led initiatives to drive impactful change through collaboration and education. My role focused on advancing research-driven solutions and forging partnerships with relevant authorities to address pressing environmental and socio-economic challenges in Bangladesh.

Sustainable Bangladesh is committed to creating a sustainable future by emphasizing research, innovation, and actionable policies. During my tenure, we organized seminars that brought together researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to highlight the importance of sustainability research in areas such as renewable energy, waste management, and climate resilience. These seminars provided a platform for knowledge-sharing and inspired actionable strategies to tackle issues like urban pollution and resource scarcity. Additionally, we established mentorship programs connecting students and young professionals with experts in sustainability, fostering the next generation of leaders equipped to address Bangladesh’s environmental challenges.

My responsibilities included designing and coordinating these seminars, securing partnerships with academic institutions and government bodies, and overseeing mentorship initiatives to ensure meaningful engagement. By fostering dialogue between stakeholders, I helped strengthen the bridge between research and policy implementation, contributing to Sustainable Bangladesh’s mission of building a resilient and prosperous nation.
